Special Issue Information

Proposal Title:

Advances in Natural Resources Engineering and Management

Proposal Summary:

The issue covers a number of critical topics relevant to Natural Resources Engineering and Management. This gathering brings together researchers from across Asia and Africa, with a significant focus on the engineering challenges faced in Iraq and other countries such as the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, Malaysia, Jordan, and Tunisia. It is devoted to the papers presented in three related important engineering fields, namely Hydraulic, Petroleum and Mining Engineering and Environmental Engineering. These three interconnected fields intersect at specific aspects, driving forward applications that have the power to reshape industries, enhance our understanding of complex systems, and improve quality of life.

The issue combines comprehensive studies and reviews and offers readers an in-depth exploration of these critical domains and their applications in relevant industries. The book comprises three sections, namely an introduction and overview of the topics in section one. Section two covers the most essential topics presented at the conference on hydraulic, petroleum and mining engineering in eight articles. Furthermore, section three included three topics on environmental engineering.

Proposal Objectives:

Highlight the Importance of Natural Resources Engineering and Management:

To bring attention to critical topics and challenges in the fields of Hydraulic, Petroleum and Mining Engineering, and Environmental Engineering, with a focus on their intersections and transformative potential.

Promote International Collaboration:

To showcase research contributions from Asia and Africa, particularly emphasizing the engineering challenges faced in countries like Iraq, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, Malaysia, Jordan, and Tunisia.

Present Comprehensive Studies:

To provide an in-depth exploration of critical engineering domains through studies and reviews, offering insights into their applications in various industries.

Document Conference Contributions:

To organize and present key findings from the conference, dividing the content into three structured sections: an introduction and overview, significant topics in hydraulic, petroleum, and mining engineering, and discussions on environmental engineering.
