Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the submission system after corresponding author registration to the system. Before submitting your manuscript, authors are kindly asked to follow the Author Guidelines below. Manuscripts that don’t follow these guidelines won’t be considered to proceed further.

Publication and Authorship

1. Basic Standards

Authors should take the following steps into the consideration when they intend to prepare and publish a paper in the journal.
1- According to the policy of the journal, the following information should be given in the following orders,
a) The sequence of authors should be given as follows: the first author is the corresponding author, the other authors should be listed by the rerlative overall contributions to the manuscript.
b) The list of References should be listed numerical order in which the reference appears in the paper(see Vancouver style guidance).
2- The following information should be clearly written in the text.
3- The Full name(s) of the author(s) (without abreviations and academic title such as Prof., Dr., etc.)
4- The affiliation(s) of the author(s), as department, faculty, institution, city, (state), or country. For the unaffiliated authors, their only city and country of residence will be asked, not their e-mail address unless specifically requested.
5- A clear indication and an active e-mail address of the corresponding author.
6- If available, the 16-digit ORCID of the author(s).
7- EAJSE does not tolerate plagiarism and fraudulent data in any paper. A manuscript that has a higher than 30 similarity percentage (moreover, the paper which has less than %30 but has more than 5 similarity percentage with any paper) will be returned to the authors.
8- All papers which passed successfully from the early editorial board requirements are reviewed by a minimum of three reviewers blindly. The manuscript will proceed further with the final editorial procedure if it is accepted by two of the referees.
9- It is strictly prohibited to publish the same research in more than one journal. Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before, that is, it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The publication should be approved by all co-authors in the author declaration section about the originality.

1. Author Guidelines

1- General Rules

The journal accepts only texts written in good English Language both in MS Word and LeTex  format (Please visit the download section below to reach the paper formats). The length of the paper should be around 4000-10000 words (approx. 8-20 pages). Shorter manuscripts will not be considered. Longer manuscripts will be considered only in exceptional circumstances.

2- Paper Style

Title: Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulas where possible.

Author’s names and affiliations: Indicate the Author(s) name(s) and family name(s) in alphabetical order. Don’t use abbreviations and academic titles for the names and don’t put more than three names (Ex: David Fraklin Ahmet). Present the authors’ affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author’s name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, such as department name, faculty name, institution city, state, country name, and e-mail address of each author.

Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication, and also post-publication. The most active email address should be written for quick communication for the paper.

General Rules for Text: Please use the following rules for the whole text, including abstract, keywords, heading, and references.

Line Spacing: single-spaced – 12 pt

Abstract: A concise and factual informative abstract is required (maximum length of 200 words). The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the statement, a brief about the main body, the principal results, and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. Citations, abbreviations, and graphs should be avoided in the abstract. There should be a statement about why the research is important as a separate sentence at the end of the abstract.

Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a minimum of 3, and a maximum of 8 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, ‘and’, ‘of’). Use semicolons in between each keyword to separate them (ex. Word 1; word 2; word 3).

Subdivision of the article: Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1., 2., (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to ‘the text’. Authors are urged to write as concisely as possible, but not at the expense of clarity.

Figures: Graphs, diagrams, chromatograms, photos, etc. should be prepared as clear, black, and white or colorful, original positives, suitable for reproduction. All figures should be embedded within the manuscript and must be captioned and numbered sequentially.

Tables and Equations: Tables and equations should not be submitted in a format exceeding the A4 page size (in portrait form). All tables should be embedded within the manuscript and must be captioned and numbered sequentially. (see the examples in the template)

References: The list of references should follow the number reference style (Vancouver system) which shows each citation in chronological order. In the number reference system, a number is added in parentheses or square brackets in the appropriate place in the text, starting the numbering from 1. The bibliography of the work is arranged by the order in which the citations appear in the text.

How to use it in the text.

In the number reference system, the references are listed in numerical order as they appear in the text.

Examples:

Recent research showed that... [1].
Further research has proved that... [2, p. 36-38].
According to the theory presented by Järvinen in 2000... [Theorem 15, 3, p. 50]. Author's name and publication year can be noted in in-text citation.

How to use in the reference list

References in chronological order i. e. the same order as they appear in the text. Year must be put after the publication information.

3- The following sections should be written as non-numbering sections

Conclusion and discussion: The authors are asked to write a section at the end of the research about their findings and summary of the contribution to the novel science in the field, and a kind of comparison or evaluation about why this research is more important than the others which have been done recently. Moreover, we encourage the authors to give some doable open problems at the end of the conclusion for the readers and young researchers.

Author’s Contribution: There should be a declaration about authorship, originality, approval by the authors, and contribution loads for authors. The example can be used instead;

We confirm that the manuscript has been read and approved by all named authors. We also confirm that each author has the same contribution to the paper. We further confirm that the order of authors listed in the manuscript has been approved by all authors.

Conflict of interest: The journal also asks for a declaration about conflict of interest as “There is no conflict of interest for this paper”

Acknowledgment: Authors are also asked to write an acknowledge section for some external contributors; such as an external supervisor, reviewers, editorial team of the journal, ect.

Appendices: It should locate after References and all information should be clear.

Important

The paper must have:
1. OCRID numbers of authors
2. Clear Affiliation, Department, Faculty, University, City/Region, Country
3. Corresponding Author’s Email
4. DOI of each cited paper added inside references
5. Abstract, Keywords, Conflict of interest, Author’s Contribution, and Acknowledgment

1. Important Required Statements

Copyright Notice: Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher. The Editors reserve the right to edit or otherwise alter all contributions, but authors will receive proofs for approval before publication.

Copyrights for articles published in EAJSE journals are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author’s responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.
