Appeal Process Policy
The Eurasian Journal of Science and Engineering (EAJSE) is committed to ensuring fairness and transparency in its editorial decisions. Authors who believe that their manuscript has been subjected to an unfair review or decision may submit a formal appeal.
- Grounds for Appeal
An appeal may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Procedural errors during the peer-review or editorial process.
- Evidence of bias or conflict of interest affecting the review.
- Misinterpretation of the reviewer comments by the editor.
- Submission of Appeal
Authors must submit a written appeal within 30 days of receiving the decision. The appeal should include:
- Manuscript reference number and title.
- Specific reasons for the appeal, referencing any relevant evidence.
- A respectful explanation of why the decision should be reconsidered.
- Evaluation of Appeal
Upon receiving an appeal, the Editor-in-Chief will:
- Review the appeal for validity and relevance.
- Assign an independent senior editor or associate editor to re-evaluate the manuscript if necessary.
- Consult additional reviewers if required to ensure a fair assessment.
- Final Decision
The final decision on an appeal rests with the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the assigned editor. This decision is final and binding. The process is designed to maintain the integrity of the journal while respecting authors’ rights to fair consideration.
- Limitations
Appeals will not be entertained for disagreements over subjective judgment, such as reviewer recommendations on novelty, significance, or scope, unless procedural irregularities are evident.
