Outcomes and Actions
Depending on the findings, possible actions include:
- Rejection of the manuscript under review.
- Issuance of corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions for published articles.
- Notification of the authors’ institution or relevant authorities.
- Suspension of the authors’ future submissions to the journal for a defined period.
Confidentiality and Fair Process
All allegations are examined confidentially and impartially. Individuals involved in the process are treated fairly and allowed to respond.
