Long-Term Digital Preservation Policy

EAJSE is committed to ensuring the permanent preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published content. To achieve this, the journal implements a comprehensive digital preservation strategy supported by trusted third-party archiving systems.

The journal participates in the CLOCKSS program, a community-governed archive designed to preserve scholarly content for the long term. Through CLOCKSS, secure and geographically distributed copies of all published articles are maintained. If EAJSE becomes unavailable or ceases publication, CLOCKSS ensures that the content remains freely accessible to the scholarly community.

In addition to CLOCKSS, the journal maintains internal digital backups on secure institutional servers. These backups include multiple copies stored in separate locations to prevent data loss from technical failures or unforeseen events.

EAJSE ensures that metadata, DOIs, and publication files remain permanently accessible through Crossref and other indexing services regularly used in scholarly publishing. The journal periodically reviews its preservation practices to comply with international standards and to maintain long-term digital continuity for all published material.
