Conflict of Interest policy

EAJSE requires full transparency regarding any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research, review process, or publication outcome. All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as affecting the objectivity or integrity of their contributions.

Authors must include a Conflict of Interest Statement in their submission, declaring any relevant affiliations, funding sources, financial interests, or personal connections. If no conflicts exist, authors must clearly state “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

Reviewers must decline assignments if they have relationships or interests that could bias their evaluation. This includes current or recent collaboration with the authors, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, or financial interests related to the subject matter.

Editors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are handled impartially. Editors must recuse themselves from decisions on submissions in which they have a conflict of interest, delegating responsibility to another qualified editor.

All conflicts, once identified, are managed transparently in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in corrective actions, including withdrawal or retraction of published articles.

EAJSE maintains this policy to safeguard the integrity, impartiality, and credibility of its scholarly publishing process.
