Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Being an Open Access journal, publishing an article in EAJSE requires the payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC), which will be invoiced to the submitting author upon acceptance. Aside from this APC, no other fees, such as submission charges, page charges, or printing charges, are applicable.

There is no Article Processing Charge for the EAJSE journal by now.

Refund Policy

Once an article has been accepted for publication, an Article Processing Charge becomes due. The submitting author is responsible for the payment, and the EAJSE journal does not issue refunds of any kind.

Waivers

EAJSE maintains a transparent waiver policy to support researchers facing challenges in covering the costs associated with publishing open access. The waiver policy follows a two-tier approach:

  • Countries in Research4Life’s "Group A" will receive a full (100%) waiver of article processing charges.
  • Countries in Research4Life’s "Group B” will receive a partial (50%) waiver of article processing charges.

Waiver requests outside of these two tiers will not be considered. It's essential to note that only one article processing charge waiver can be applied to each submitted manuscript.
